Dataproducts' FP Series band printers offer excellent print quality and reliability at the heavy duty cycles typical of high volume applications. And the FP 1500 and FP 2000A print fast enough to keep up with the demands of the busiest data processing departments.

A swing-open gate makes it easy to change the paper, ribbon and print band. The paper routing system, with two tractors and paper puller, assures continuously reliable operation, and adjustments for different form sizes are simple. The standard power stacker places printed forms on an adjustable shelf and makes the output easily accessible.

FP Series printers are designed to keep maintenance costs low. Mean-time-between-failures is 5,000 hours for the FP 1500 and 4,000 hours for the FP 2000A. Mean-time-to-repair is just 30 minutes, and no preventive maintenance is required. A built-in vacuum system cleans the printer while it is operating, keeping printed characters sharp and the printer running smoothly.
